## Evidence layers

- Origin evidence: immutable canonical JSON manifests with SHA-256 content fingerprints and version-chain references.
- Website signatures: optional Ed25519 JWS artifacts whose cryptographic validity, declared-DID authorization, and method-specific public history or log evidence are evaluated separately.
- Time evidence: optional OpenTimestamps receipts that may later contain a Bitcoin block-header attestation.
- Independent preservation: optional Internet Archive Wayback snapshots, listed only after their public links pass verification.

## Linkset profile v1

The linked RFC 9264 document uses registered Web Link relations. `related` identifies public signature or timestamp artifacts without assigning them stronger semantics than the underlying evidence supports.
