Adding Wordpress Plugins
One of the many improvements in Wordpress 2.7 is the ease of adding and updating plugins. In the past you had to download the plugin, unzip the file and transfer the files back up to your site via FTP.
Now when a plugin becomes outdated and requires an update you simply click on the update link. In addition from the Manage Plugins page there is a Plugin Browser/Installer function. It just can’t get any easier. Once you’ve found a plugin you like, click on install. It will tell you if the software has been tested on your version of Wordpress.
